This policy outlines how DDx handles data flowing through the Movement Infrastructure Group (MIG) products, delineating the responsibilities and limitations of these services for our partners and client organizations.

This document is intended to provide clarity on data usage, storage, and retention practices in connection with the MIG products. This document is a non-binding statement of DDx’s current policies and does not replace, supersede or otherwise modify the agreement between your organization and DDx for use of these MIG products. 

As between DDx and the client organization, the client organization retains ownership of its data that it submits to the MIG database. DDx, through the MIG products, acts solely as a facilitator for data movement and access, and does not intend to obtain ownership of any client data via MIG. MIG is not designed to use client data for any purpose other than the operation and provision of the services outlined in the applicable client agreement, or with respect to the MIG API License Agreement, as permitted thereunder. 

MIG employs industry-standard security measures to protect data during transit and at rest. Client organizations and their partners are responsible for managing access to their data through the MIG products.  Please refer to the DDx Privacy Policy for further information.

MIG is designed to retain personal data only for the duration necessary to deliver the service and ensure successful operations unless retention is otherwise required by applicable law or unless DDx cannot reasonably delete such personal data from its backup systems. 

DDx regularly reviews its data handling practices in connection with the MIG products for compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Audits are conducted to assess adherence to this policy and to identify any areas for improvement.

DDx reserves the right to update this policy as needed to reflect changes in our services or regulatory requirements. Client organizations and their partners will be notified of any significant changes to this policy in a timely manner.
